Thank you for visiting the-gay-editor, a division of the-freelance-editor, for help with outlining/organizing, ghostwriting, editing/proofreading, researching/fact-checking, and telling YOUR story.

a virtual bookstore, from the-gay-editor

In our little but growing virtual bookstore for LGBTQIA+ readers—as well as writers, who are, indeed, most of our editorial business—you’ll find a totally random though timely and appropriate selection of books curated by the-gay-editor.

Specifically, in our virtual bookstore for LGBTQIA+ readers and writers, we search releases from several publishers, but we only list materials noted as written for LGBTQIA+ audiences.

Spelled out, that would be materials for persons who are or identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and/or queer, intersex, allies and/or asexual, and more. We do aim to please!

Are we missing your favorite?

Do you know of a title or author we’re missing? Let us know. And, keep checking back—our goal is to add listings as soon as we find out about them, but you never know when we might add something new.

Buy when you’re ready

Click one of the banner images below to view titles we offer and to start the ordering process (see disclaimers and other information below the images, too). If you’d also like one or two (or more) of our promotional items, please check out our main shop page.

Note that processing and fulfillment of our bookstore items are performed by affiliation with IndieBound and bookshop.org, two initiatives of the American Booksellers Association. The ABA is dedicated to supporting locally owned, independent bookstores—and the communities they support.

By selecting a section banner or text link, you will be safely forwarded to pages on Indiebound and/or bookshop.org to complete your purchase. Some links may contain affiliate codes; if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions Policy.

Note that portions of this small commission will be used
to subsidize deserving clients and sponsor editorial interns.

Should you experience any difficulties or have any questions, or suggestions,
